Knolin's place of birth and family remain to this day...unknown. He never
knew his family, never knew his birthplace, and never had any friends.
Knolin was a tall male drow. About 6'1" with white, almost silver hair
and skin as black as night. Knolin has traveled for as long as he can remember.
He never stayed in one place too long for reasons known only to him. While
traveling, he came across a land known as Midgaard. For some reason this new
land intrigued him more than any other he has visited. He decided to stay
and possibly make this is home.
While there, he took to the shadows and begun his new life as a thief.
Being a drow he was near invisible at night and a master of the shadows
in day. Knolin was still a loner; his only friend was another drow named
Glyph who he met while mugging another victim. They became good friends
almost instantly. Years passed by and everything remained the same until
he met a thief...one in which he had never seen before but had always been
there long before Knolin was. She was graceful, sneaky, and very good at
what she did. She was known by some as the Queen of the Thieves. But to her
friends she was known as Nemesis.
To this day neither of them know how or why they met, but both are very
glad they did. Nemesis was practically family to Knolin; She was always
there for him and him for her. They did much thieving and causing trouble
together for many years. But...not all things last. Knolin became more
interested in the arts of black magic, and necromancy. While Nemesis turned
her attention towards helping people. Knolin soon became a very powerful mage,
maybe even the strongest in the lands. Nemesis became a paladin, trained by
the HighKnight Vishki to help the lands and their people. As Knolin's power
increased, so did Nemesis'. They were still friends mind you. But their closeness
slowly faded away. Knolin hated Vishki, he blamed her for turning his friend
into a paladin. But Knolin's life continued his powers grew to almost
immortal like status...but a great tragedy befell the land.
No one knows what truly happened or if they do, they won't say. So
Knolin gathered the little of his belongings, and set out to roam the lands once more.
Nemesis is an Ancient, one of the last of her kind. Once a proud and powerful race
their are very few left now. Ancients are the ancestors of the elven races. They are
tall, willowy and otherworldly graceful and beautiful. They are one of the oldest races known.
Nemesis was left by her real parents to be raised by Sidhe parents and had an uneventful
early life. She met only one other ancient, a young boy named Trinight who also lived
in her village. Nemesis' adoptive parents died while she was still only a child and
left her tobe raised by the local shaman, an old half dragon named Caleen.
She grew up mostly happy, the people of her village shunned Nemesis, thinking her
evil. One year, when she was sixteen years old, a plague full upon her land, killing
animals, people and the harvest. Shortly after raiders started attacking and killed
more people. The townspeople blamed it on young Nemesis and drove her from the only
home she had ever known.
After that, she wandered the land. The young thief soon found herself in
Midgaard where she joined another thief named Blackfire, who would later
disappear. In time she was found by Akee Dikira who saw a great deal of
potential in the young ancient and brought her into the Order of Chaos.
Nemesis then met Sticky Fingers, a powerful human thief who took her as
his apprentice and taught her all he knew. And so it was up til the day
he to vanished mysteriously, leaving Nemesis alone once more.
Then came the day she met a young drow thief named Knolin. She could never
say just how they had met, but was glad they did. Their lives were happy
and peaceful for the most part until a new force entered her life.
The High Knight Vishki. The two would meet by chance in a place they both
favored to the usual tavern. They started to talk that day, the conversation
that would last years and seal a most unnatural friendship. In their talks,
Vishki found a pure, but very troubled soul. In time she convinced the
Queen of Thieves to turn in her picks and daggers for a sword and a conscience.
It was shortly after that time that Sticky would return to the land. Upon
finding his prize pupil a paladin he became less then happy. Starting a group
known as the HellSpawn, he would harass the High Knight and Nemesis. Using
her own friend, Knolin, against her, and trying to blackmail her back into
her old ways. Sticky used Knolin to do his dirty work, while he tried to
convince the High Knight he had changed. Nemesis had always made it her
business to know things, and knew her old teacher better. She knew he was
the leader of HellSpawn, but kept the face of innocence on hoping to find
a way to catch him in his own lie. This would be interupted however.
The appearance of Sirius DarkAmber, who claimed to be the daughter of
the now mad Shadow KalDaka(DarkAmber), brought much to the table and
forced Sticky to the back if Nemesis' mind. They would fight til Vishki
stepped in and enforced peace between them.
Nemesis' ties to those such as Knolin and Sticky created to many
suspicions in Sirius' mind however and the two would once more take
up their private war. This fight brought much of Nemesis' darker side
back to the surface. Cheered on by the evil of the realm, that side
began to grow more and more. She soon came to believe that she was
unworthy of her teacher Vishki and reverted more until the High Knight
stepped in once more to reassure her friend that no matter what, they
would always be friends. Shortly after the land was detroyed. Many
escaped this detruction, but it is said that Nemesis and Vishki stood
thier ground at the very eye of the destruction, stopping it from
spreading, but being detroyed themselves.
No one can say for sure if this is true, Nemesis and Vishki have not been
seen since, maybe only the gods can say what became of them.....maybe,
their are somewhere waiting for the land they so love to return....
The worst way to describe Talos is to say he is human, mainly because he is not.
His true form is one that very much looks like the lowly human form, although,
by simple observation to the strength and powers he possesses, one can draw the
conclusion that Talos is not human. What’s known of the race Talos does
belong to is that it’s long forgotten and extremely rare. Ancient tomes
of books speak of a creator race that possessed a great magic that was written
to the flesh. The most commonly accepted interpretation of this is that the
symbols used in the casting of these magic’s, were reproduced on the skin
or into the flesh of the caster. This coincides with the fact that Talos’
body is covered entirely by tattoos except the palm of his hands and feet and his
head. It is because of this peculiar visual difference from other humans that
Talos most commonly wears clothing covering the whole of his build. The ancient
creator race were not gods, but were assigned by the gods to do work for them
in the physical realm. Luckily for the lesser mortals of the realm, the creator
race was ruled over by gods of good intent, and therefore, Talos’ race is
of good nature. Talos has spent his existence learning the ways of the Paladin,
the Holy Warrior .
Talos
The hobbit Akee was born and grew up in Midgaard. Life for many in Midgaard is hard and Akee grew up as a thief. At first a thief like any other, stealing to eat and to put clothes on his back, but Akee was shrewd and ambitious. He showed great promise early on and quickly climbed the ladder in the world of thieves. He became feared by his victims, loved by fellow thieves and wanted by the guards and every wannabe hero in the land. After becoming one of the most powerful thieves Midgaard had ever seen, the Betrayer became one of the founding members of the Order of Chaos, a thieves clan. It was this very clan that would produce the most powerful thieves in the land, including the Queen of Thieves. In fact, it was Akee himself who found her as a young thief. This clan wouldn't last however, it would fall into decay and became currupted ny outside sources. Soon leaders started dropping off like flies, dieing mysteriously, leave all others in power paranoid. This resulted in what leaders still lived to abandon thier clan. Soon only a few members remained, Nemesis assumed leadership for a short while after Akee left but soon left aswell. The Order of Chaos was no more. Akee then started another clan, built from the ashes of the Order of Chaos came the Brotherhood of Chaos, an elite group of powerful thieves led by Akee. What the future holds for Akee and the Brotherhood can't be said, only time will tell.
A very long time ago, before the rebirth, the realm was full of generally good inhabitancy.
That all changed after the coming of the Days of Six, the days of darkness. The world had
become far to unbalanced in the forces of good and evil and thus so, an influx in evil was
building. The evil gods had finally been able to call forth their demonic minions on to
this realm. Using the veil of darkness to cover their actions, portals were opened from
the depths of hell, and worse. Through these gates came all the known evil that had ever
existed. The plan of the evil gods was to create such an influx in evil, that a balance
would never again be reached.
This beautiful and deceptively innocent looking woman is the patron goddess of thieves,
nightblades and avengers. Aswell as being know as the Destroyer, the Demoness, and the White Lady.
She is most known as the Demoness, but prefers to go by the White Lady.
This lovely face has led many a paladin astray and converted many more
innocents to her dark ways. Very few can resist her beauty, charm and
the way she can convince nearly all that her way is the just and right way.
Her smooth talking ways have lured followers from other gods and takes
great pride in corrupting the holy paladins of the land.
This innocent face is one you should hope never to come upon and is
to be feared, for just under its surface lies the most evil of all beings.
