Shalmak, the Serpant God, was really no more than a demi-god born of a chance meeting of a beautiful immortal and the Serpant of the Underworld. Shalmak was born a twin, as twins seem to run in the family. Chacemak, called Chace, tha Dragon God was raised by his mother Night and her sister Day. Shalmak was raised by his father the Serpant. Shalmak was dark and evil, Chace was good and pure. Shalmak took a demon consort, Chase married the Guardian of Night, Ky. The two would rage a private war until Devane stepped in. Devane has a great amount of power which she often hides behind others like Shalmak. But when she choose to, she could use that power to bring the gods to their knees, and she did just that. She captured Chaces daughter, the Angel of Destiny and somehow turned her into the Stone of Destiny. She then used the stone to kill Chase and Ky. This didn't sit well with the other gods mind you, but they dared not move against her for fear of the stone. With the stone Shalmak became the most feared and powerful god the land had ever seen. In the end however, it was the very stone that had given him the power that would take it back. All this time Destiny had been aware of what was going on. Time moves much slower inside the stone and it took her sometime to take control and turn against him. The stone was renamed the Death Stone at that time. Shalmak lost nearly all his power. It was then that he found Shadow and regained some of his formor glory. That to ended when Shadow killed his master.

Called the Demoness of Devane, her origins are unknown. As far as anyone knows, she's always been around, not even the old gods knew from where she came. It is said that not even she does. Devane is trapped within the Destiny Stone for eternity by the Angel of Destiny.

The Story of Sirius DarkAmber (Lensmoor) The Daughter of a rich merchant family and twin sister of Lilith, Sirius DarkAmber was raised to take over the family estate. From a young age it was clear that the older of the two, Lilith, was unfit to manage the wealth. Far to rebellious and headstronge to be tied down by the responsibilites. After Lilith's sudden departure. Sirius became concerned for her reckless other half. Taking it upon herself to ensure her twins safety, Sirius set off aswell. Like her sister, Sirius ran into troubles. She was taken by raiders and forced to become the slave to an evil master who she later found she was kin to. She was told the truth of her and her sisters birth. The family that raised tham were not blood kin. Her master told her they were the spawn of an evil Queen and a vile demon of death. Born to a legacy of evil, the two were to be the worldly embodyment of Death and Destruction. After they were born, their mother was killed by holy paladins and they were entrusted to those who raised them. Unbelieving that she was kin to such filth, Sirius killed her Master and freed herself. Once an innocent girl, Sirius left a haunted and confused woman. She eventually settled in another land and learned the ways of the paladin. She joined two other paladins, HighKnight Vishki, a proud halfdragon bound to service to a powerful, yet seemingly ignorant being know as The EclipseDragon. And Nemesis, a mysterious Ancient, once Queen of Thieves turned protector. Together the triad would bring peace to their land if not each other. Nemesis had driven Sirius' father, Shadow, to insanity when she a thief. It happened while Sirius was trapped as a slave. Shadow had come seeking his lost daughters but instead found an evil sadistic thief named Nemesis. Learning of this Sirius first came to kill Nemesis, but found her as an companion to the HighKnight Vishki. With some pushing from Vishki, the two started a friendship of sorts. But Sirius, forever suspicious of the ex-thieves true intentions and loyalties would drive a wedge between them. The three would be ripped apart by anger, hatred and dark forces. Soon after a great destruction came upon the land in the form of an angered Demoness and a hoard of half- demon spawn. Leaving the now desolite land, Sirius, now separtated from all she held dear, found herself in Lensmoor. She came seeking the HighKnight Vishki and Paladin of Light Nemesis, but instead found a happy reunion with her lost sister. Upon finding her sister, Sirius wasn't sure what to think. While Sirius' experiences lead her to light, Lilith's had gone to dark. Lilith assured her twin however by saying, 'Paladin or not, you're still my sister.'
You can only go so far until you look back and don't recognize yourself.
Your thinking changes, your behavior, your inhibitions, your very soul.
The nails don't hurt anymore, do they?
You want to feel something, but you have become jaded.
But then that hurts and you realise you are feeling something.
Lash out.
Hurt someone the way they hurt you in the beginning.
And then don't stop.
It's what you know.
It's all you know.
Mithwaess, Dragonkin of the Mists.
Bryn Kal'daka, or as she was born, DarkAmber, was a tortured soul. Born the eldest daughter
of Simion and Kindra, she was dropped off at her grandmothers step almost at birth. And
despite Lilith's founded suspicion that the sidhe girl wasn't the daughter of her son Simion,
but perhaps that of the human Brannin, she raised her anyway. Marked as the demons heir,
she was to carry on the family name. But soon her father stepped back into her life, and
as his own mother had done to him, he tormented and tortured him daughter to make her see
the world the way he wanted too. For this, she ran, to the family of Kans and Kelanie Malorian.
She tried hard to escape her past and her family, seeking nothing more then to become part
of the dream she found in the Malorian family. But the dream was not to be. Dark forces
were against her, and distanced her for them, and more importantly, from the man she
loved, Kandren Malorian. In time he become disgusted with his friend, and cast her away,
wanting nothing to do with her. This broke her heart and drove her into a despair from
which she never recovered.
In her pain she turned to two people, her sister Amaya, who like her, had turned her
back ontheir parents in favor of their grandmother Lilith, and a sidhe boy whom Lilith
tormented in his dreams, Ebriel. Her sister offered to help, unbinding Bryn once and for
all from the family, against Lilith's wishes, she removed Bryn's mark. Free but not,
she had little mind left. Ebriel stepped in now to care for her, winning a part of her
heart thought dead. Not long after, a child was born, a sidhe girl, with one eye of
silver, one eye of gold.
Before anyone could find out, she gave this child to the one person she had always trusted,
he dragon guardian Brannin. She made a plea to him and to any gods who might hear, to keep
her daughter from the family and the curse they carried. He of course agreed to care for
the daughter of his young charge, asking no questions of her.
Within mere hours, Bryn was dead, having thrown herself off the top of the high tower
where generations of her family lived. Leaving her daughter free and safe.
Bound to the dragon Brannin, she became Dragonkin, showing more signs of dragon features
as she gets older. Living on the isle of the dead, time goes differently, and rarely
does she leave it, and in the years children her age have grown old and had grandchildren,
she has remained young in form, if not in mind.
She is wild, heart and spirit, she often gives what some might take as animalistic
qualities. They are however in most cases, those of a dragon. She has great respect
and love for what she calls the Others, the dragons. And in most cases liches also,
but not always. Other races may find themselves hard pressed to impress her in anyway.
Son of Medri Mithwaess and a unknown sidhe male named Vicdean. The family line is passed
down in the bloodlines of the females, a tradition that Medri continues dispite her distance
from the family and it's rule enforcing Matron Lilith.
Because if this, she has little to no use for a male child and did very little raising of Renor.
She taught him the basics of survival, proper respect for life, death and those more powerful
than you. Things she herself was taught at a young age by Brannin and Jvahr. She instilled the
value of silence but most importantly she taught him a great restpect for Dragons,
herself being bonded to one as Dragonkin.
Their background is defined as:
Renor was born to Medri and Vicdean, but Vicdean didn't exactly play a very long role in the
growing up process. He was given what he needed to survive and cared for enough to lived a
healthy childhood. Ever since he was a small little boy was he a sneaky critter. As a baby,
he did what every other baby did. Cry a lot, be happy only when he got what he wanted, and
of course grew to love the elements he was raised with.
When able to sustain without his mother being next to him every moment of the day, Medri
had started to invoke the elements of survival, slowly taking away all excess things. Things
that weren't priorty for survival. Renor was left with what was needed to live, but thats
just about it. He was grown to be a silent little bugger though right after infant-hood,
as else he'd become Jvahr's beating toy.
As he was growing, the knowledge of life and death, and those who would deal it out mercilessly
was instilled. Survival becoming natural, and Renor more mature, Medri slowly acknowledged his
abilities to life on his own, fair enough for a little boy. She started to give him more, clothing,
food, and shelter as he progressed, until he was seven.
At the ripe age of seven, he was set loose into New Lensmoor. Of course, he had gotten muddy and
didn't very much like wearing only mud covered clothes, he decided for whatever reason, to ditch
the clothing and find new ones.
Their personality is defined as:
This sidhe boy isn't exactly the most 'typical' of sidhe children. Medri raised Renor with the basic
needs of survival, along with a couple other significant things that assisted in his survival of seven
years. His mother instilled a great respect for dragons, and that sparked a wild interest in the boy.
Having several dragon relatives has assisted as well. He has a particular interest with things that
have wings regardless, but would prefer dragons other sprites.
He has a respect to those stronger them him and for those in places of power, as his mother raised
him to well respect death and those who could issue it without blinking. Immortals have a higher
respect in those regards. Fitting well along the lines of death and survive comes his silence.
He isn't loud and prefers to be in a quiet enviroment, probably because inside he is quite
mischevious and prefers solitude to conduct mean experiements with animals and unforunate bugs.
While he is a bit of a talker when you get him going, he won't speak too much unless he is
interested in what you've got to say.
He enjoys getting dirty, playing, breaking things, climbing trees, exploring, and most of what
other little boys do. Yet he has a twisted interest in darker things, such as necromancy,
grim stories, and liche. As if that didn't take up a lot of time, he devoted himself to the
general idea of knowledge. He reads and writes, a little poorly, but good enough.
All in all, he gets away with what he can, but is wise enough to know when to keep to himself.
Not to mention, he suffers from a certain degree of shyness and caution. His personality is
still under construction, as he has years of changing to do, but for now he is quite content
with being an adventurous little critter.
Their background is defined as:
Alkarin grew up with very little restrictions or guidance from his mother, just the occasional
influence to keep him alive. Raised to survive, he was brought up with dragons and his own devices,
making him singularly obsessed with gaining his mother's approval and attention. As he is not a dragon,
nor any other powerful creature, his task is a difficult one.
Their personality is defined as:
Raised with dragons, Alkarin learned about power and the weakness of his own unscaled hands. His
child's eyes are starting to see that there is power in fear, and fear in power. He is constantly
trying to understand the world, and the dynamics of the people in it but without the close parental
guidance that other children receive he approaches it in his own special chaotic way.
His child's mind cannot see past his quest to be more then an unwanted boy child so he is
constantly searching for ways to better himself in the eyes of his dragonkin mother.
Before the age of 9, Alkarin vanished mysteriously and his mother has presumed him dead,
how or when it happened she couldn't say. Some suspect that Lilith may have had something to
do with it, but she hasn't taken credit for it, nor denied it.
The twin daughters of Medri Mithwaess, they were named after the Kal'Daka family Matron,
Lilith, dispite Medri herself living apart from the family. The eldest, Lorith was a combination
of Lilith's name and that of the long gone Paladin Loragain. The younger was named Nirith,
also after the Matron. Why she did this is unclear, as she herself has never met Lilith or
any of the rest of the family, and clearly plans never to do so. But then, much of what Medri
does is a great mystery, sometimes even to Brannin.
The girls, dispite not being dragonkin themselves, were born with some characteristics that
Medri herself has, their grey-toned skin is the most obvious of these. If they will grow to
show more traits is something only time will tell.
The two are identical in appearance save for one thing, their eye color. Lorith's eyes
are a yellow, gold color, like her father's eyes, only brighter. Her mother has one gold
eye, one silver eye, passsed down from her own parents. Medri's mother had silver, her
father gold, and what once joined in her seems to have once again split. Nirith has eyes
of the purest silver like her long dead grandmother Bryn.
What their personalities will grow into is anyones guess, Medri herself has opted for a
mostly hands-off approach to raising the girls, letting them run wild on the Isle of
the Dead where they live with Jvahr and Brannin. She taught them proper respect for the
world, death and those more powerful than they. Taught how to fight and kill as soon as
they could hold a weapon they were never coddled, never treated as weak. As all twins,
they have their own secret language, mostly had of hand gestures as Medri also taught
them how much silence is appretiated from children, especially where they live. As
they have gotten older, Medri made them to leave the Caliga Clan Hall, seeing them as
being able to watch after each other and no longer requiring her attention or protection.
She feels if they get into trouble now, they can get themselves out of it, after all,
she taught them better.
While Lilith has been informed of their existance, she has choosen to ignore them,
in fact she ignores the entire branch of the family, seeing as it causes her no grief,
she has had no reason to pull it under her otherwise tight reigns.
Their personality is defined as:
Lorith was raised on the Isle of the Dead, away from people, with only her sister Nirith
for company most of the time. Her mother Medri and her dragon bonded Brannin also lived
there, but raised the girls in a rather distant way. Taught to survive, to care for herself,
taught the proper respect for life, death and those who could deal it to her.
Once they were old enough to care for themselves, they mother sent them away from the
only home they had ever known, into a large, unknown world.
This has caused her to seem distant, even cold, but in fact she is anything but cold
hearted. Somewhat shy and uneasy in her new environment, few things can make her speak up
instead of simply slipping away from the crowds of people.
She is proud but not to the point of arrogance, strength and honor mean a great deal to
her and she is fiercely protective of her younger sister Nirith. Upon being sent away from
the Caliga Hall Lorith saw a whole new world, a world of things she had never before seen.
A world of light, of life and beauty. No more were her days spent in the cloudy mist
of the Isle of the Dead.
She almost instantly fell inlove with these things, with everything from nature to the
cities her mother always avoided.
'I am descended from The Dark Lady, The Dark Prophet and The Dark Messenger, my great
uncles are The Dark Sorcerer and The Dark Harbinger. My mother was first to crack the
Kal'Daka mold, perhaps I will be the one to break it.'
The twin daughters of Medri Mithwaess, they were named after the Kal'Daka family Matron,

she has had no reason to pull it under her otherwise tight reigns.
Syrius, named after the Matron's dead twin sister Sirius, he was born shortly before
the boys father, Vicdean, attempted to blackmail Lilith, and was killed for it. Shortly
after his death, both of Medri's son's also vanished and she strongly, and rightfully
suspected that Lilith had killed them. That the demon had watched them after their father's
foolish actions and found them lacking.
Medri knew she need not fear for the lives of her eldest daughter's, Lorith and Nirth,
for as heirs to the bloodline, she knew the Matron would not harm them. Syrius however
was not an heir and also a male and so Medri did the only thing she could, she hid the
child away so that it would not join the fate of Renor and Alkarin.
Once he was older, and his sister's too were older, Medri began to let him out,
carefully, and in the protection of Lorith and Nirith, hoping they could protect
her last remaining son.
Kalina is quick to speak, yet slow to respond. She has lived these last few years protected
by her mother, Kindra, and therefor is somewhat dependent on her. She has her standards, and
stands high on them. The girl who was once innocent, has now been rudely awakened by reality.
She stands in the darkness of evil, and enjoys it. Do not expect her to break easily, for
despite how she looks and sometimes acts, she is not that way. She is a wild animal waiting
to be tamed, but by those whom she holds in high regards.
Kalina grew up in a nice home, with only her loving father. He died years ago from some
unknown illness, and she wandered to Lensmoor for a new life. Soon after she was captured
by Kindra, and made into a slave by Kindra. Sarailis was also her owner for awhile. They
treated her kindly, watching out for her. She was introduced to Darkness by her owners
and soon Kindra found her to her liking. Now, Kalina is the daughter of Kindra. Adopted,
from slave to beloved daughter.
Their personality is defined as:
Dalhar doesn't like to talk about her background, more then to say she came from
a tribe of warriors from the southern continent. Sidhe who settled there and managed
to survive. She came back to see the land of her peoples birth.
Dalhar is somewhat wild, she was raised on the dangerous and untamed southern continent.
A group of sidhe travelled there and managed to survive. Highly opinionated and not
afraid to say exactly what she means. Fiercly proud of her warrior heritage and her
abilities as a warrior. She'd never be described as a lady, but then, she'd be insulted
if she was. She respects strength and honestly, while she feels only contempt for soft,
helpless people. If you don't help yourself, why should she? Or so she thinks. This
makes her seem to be harsh and without pity, without caring. This isn't the case,
she can be warm and loving, as long as it does not weaken her.
Not long after she came to the lands, she fell in love with a young sidhe man named
Niclos. He was like no man she had ever met, and while she fought as long as should
could, in the end her heart was the one foe she could not over come. It wasn't to be,
even after they got married against his family's wishes, it didn't last long. They
couple were attacked and Dalhar was forced to flee, saving their unborn childs life,
but at the cost of her husbands. In shame for running from battle, she returned to
her homeland to bare and raise her daughter, Amaryn, named after the dead Amaya and Bryn.
In her daughters 7th season, Dalhar was defending her tribe against a raid, and
was killed. As per her wishes, her daughter was sent back north by the tribal
elders to be raised by Niclos' family. But she also sent with her daughter a
vendetta, to find the man who killed Niclos, something she had been unable
to do herself.
Time and harsh experience have changed a once-shy boy into a cold, cynical man.
He is slow to trust, and rather cool towards people. A childhood terror from spooked
and angry animals that sensed the Fiend-taint of his blood has evolved into a deep,
and generally mutual distaste for fauna. Through his early teens, the demon half of
his heritage has manifested itself as a fierce temper, which he has had to work to
keep in check. He has an insatiable lust for knowledge and new experiences. He is
very intelligent and calculating, with an exceptional aptitude for language.
Alaeis grew up as a quiet, thoughtful child with an instinctive distrust of strangers.
As the son of a demon and sidhe, he has the appearance of a normal sidhe, but the taint
of fiends running through his blood. Animals could sense this, and were easily spooked
or angered in his presence. The reasoning of a young child took this as a personal dislike
and intent to injure, so he grew up fearing, and later despising animals. This aversion
was later reinforced as a young adult when a particularly vicious creature left him with
a scar across his face.
He has always had a passion for learning, and developed a fascination with books and
the endless knowledge they contain at an early age. Though his far-reaching goal is
to build a grand library and fill it with the knowledge of the ages, all of his current
efforts are bent on ambitions of being a great scholar and powerful mage.
Alaeis raised his daughter Aarien as best he could. Sheltering and protecting her from
any threat, she was kept almost hidden from the world for her first seven years. It
was not to last however, nothing is after all. Alaeis would not make it to see his
daughter grown, upon attempting to become a Liche, he would fail in casting the magics
correctly, causing his own death.
Amaryn is very stubborn and very proud, although bewildered by this strange land
she was tossed into after her mother's death. A bit of a wild child, with a carefree
and peculiar attitude towards most things tossed at her in life.
Niclos Kal'Daka and Dalhar Akai'Zhar were married in the temple of New Lensmoor,
the couple eloped and went off on their honeymoon. Upon their return, they were
ambushed by a white robed sidhe. At Niclos' urging Dalhar, who was carrying their
child at the time, fled from the fight, leaving Niclos to distract the person.
Niclos was killed in the fight, and Dalhar returned to her home in the desert in shame.
Amaryn was born the day of Dreaming, 18th of the Month of the Badger, Year 213.
Being brought up in the desert like her mother was, she was told many stories
about the place her father lived, although these stories were just that to Amaryn.
On Amaryn's seventh birthday, her mother was killed and given a warriors burial,
in full honor. Amaryn was taken back to Lensmoor, to her father's family, as Dalhar
had stated that was her wish for her daughter should she die.
Lilith took the girl in and raised her as her own, harsh but just, as has always
been Lilith's way. Amaryn pleased Lilith dispite what she saw as a tainted bloodline,
that is until the day Amaryn grew up and brought home a human male, asking to marry him.
Lilith denied her permission, even attacking the human, but the two were married anyway
and had a daughter together. Lilith refused to acknowledge the girl however, she would
end up dieing mysteriously at a very young age. Some believe Lilith responsible for
the child's death, but nothing could be proved.
Amaryn however was not faithful to her husband, even after having fought a demon Queen
just to be with him. She would die in child birth of a pair of twins.
Llisaar is still rather impressionable, having grown up mainly around individuals who
tended toward the lifestyle of a recluse. He tries to be tough, like a fierce predator,
but still knows so little that he often finds himself fighting the urges to flee. His
social skills sometimes are lacking, since he never really learned the arts of not being
bluntly honest. He doesn't understand a lot about the motivations and inner workings of
other people, of manipulators and liars. His desire to wander keeps him moving, and he
rarely spends much time in civilized areas unless he has good reason.
Growning up in a very poor peasant village was never a life that Llisaar was comfortable
with, even when he was barely old enough to know there was anything better out there.
His love of the outdoors and a powerful wanderlust often caused him to skip his chores
and explore the country side. Unfortunately, when he would return, he often faced the
local lord's overseer and later that night his own parents.
He quickly tired of the life his family and friends so readily seem to accept, even
seemed happy with since as long as they cooperated with the overseers they were mostly
left alone. At age 9, grabbing a few morsels from the meager stores and the small bundle
of clothes he owned, he fleed his home.
He made his way across the countryside, mostly living off of berries and fruits, happy
to not have anyone over him. But life in the wilderness was harder than he had expected,
and he would have died during his first winter alone if he hadn't been found by a kindly ranger.
Through the next few years, he spent the seasons with different rangers, learning what
nature was really like, and how to harness the wanderlust that drove him on. Eventually,
as a young adult, he found his way to the city of New Lensmoor where he met a young sidhe
girl named Amaryn. The two fell in love and Amaryn approached the family Matron Lilith
for her blessings to marry Llisaar.
Lilith however saw in this human male not just another tainting of the bloodlines but many
traits that reminded her of her own second husband Sarailis. She banned any relationship
between the two, even slashing the boys face across his eye in warning of her wrath. Dispite
this the two still ran off behind Lilith's back and married, having a daughter together.
One day while travelling the lands, Llisaar met a man in the forests, a sidhe man in a white
hooded robe. Llisaar would not return from the forest that day.
Abrienha was welcomed into this world in the year 225, on the 16th of the Ram.
As the firstborn child she is extremely protected and showered with affection.
She has spent her life, so far, learning; learning what survival skills a young
warrior will need to survive in this war-torn world.
Abrienha is an obedient child, to a fault. She listens with rapt attention to
everything her parents say and follows their instruction to the letter; their
happiness forefront of her desires. She laughs readily, and sees joy in most
situations and has an, almost obsessive, fascination with her Grmhar(grandmother).
The day that Lilith woke back up to the world, a plague awoke with her, perhaps
it was chance, perhaps it was her or the ancient air she brought with her, or
perhaps it was just the curse. Abrienha would be the first to die from it, almost
taking her mother Amaryn with her.
Children of disgrace as their demon matron of the family would so put it,
these two were born of a broken oath to the then married Amaryn and Alaeis.
Twins have for a long time run in the family, Lilith the current matron herself
was a twin. So such being born under her wing was no surprise to her or anyone else.
The surprise of these two ill begotten girls was an uncanny resemblance to Lilith
and her long dead twin Sirius, so much so that it shocked her when they were born.
It was also what lead to her actions upon their birth. She took one look at the two,
identical save for their coloring which was so like that of her and her sister and
she took the dark twin, the one who looked so like her as a sidhe child. The pale
one that looked like her centuries past sister Sirius she left to it's own fate,
she found she couldn't look upon it without seeing the enemy that her sister had
become to her in later life.
Perhaps it was this disconcerting discovery that led to her honoring the childrens
mother in naming the elder of the twins, the dark one, Abrienha after the first child
lost to Amaryn. The second born Aarien she left to whatever fate befell her. That
fate was to be taken by her blood father Alaeis to be raised.
A greed for knowledge and a lust for life, she squeezes all she can from each situation.
Never treated as a child, but simply as a small adult, she has learned to grasp for
her security in all situations; what will give her the footholds she requires. Not
quick to talk, yet always listening, her young mind knows more than most children her age.
Countless times people were brought to the tower where Abrienha lived, they came and
did not leave again. The screams and moans of tortured were often the sounds she slept to.
Death does not disturb her, only the weak die.
She does, however have a deep fascination for the intricate workings of beings;
HOw their muscles are attached to their bones, how those bones form the frame that
holds them up, etc. She can be found, even her young age, studying a deceased in
order to gain knowledge of it. Many find this disturbing but it's just another aspect
of her that others find odd.
Their background is defined as:
A child of lust, a child of sin, and a child, it seems, of destiny.
Demon, human and sidhe heritage; a blend of races and faith.
Abrienha was raised by her grandmother, the Dark Lady Lilith Kal'Daka,
after her mother died in childbirth. The story of her ancestry is shadowed
in days long past, undiscovered and not looked for.
Children of disgrace as their demon matron of the family would so put it, these
two were born of a broken oath to the then married Amaryn and Alaeis.
Twins have for a long time run in the family, Lilith the current matron herself was
a twin. So such being born under her wing was no surprise to her or anyone else.

lost to Amaryn. The second born Aarien she left to whatever fate befell her. That
fate was to be taken by her blood father Alaeis to be raised.
At a young age Aarien developed a sense of pride and dignity that some might see
as a willful arrogance. She has a rather peculiar sense of humor, although she
keeps her playful nature hidden behind a serious demeanor. This might have to
do with the way she was raised, or perhaps it is just an intuitive defense she
was born with. Her concept of right and wrong has been formed by the people that
surrounded her daily in her childhood, and also from her watchful curiosity of
the world around her. She has long had a habit of studying her surroundings and
withdrawing from participation of the events happening around her. She chooses
rather to watch and learn from afar, having a strange fascination with human
nature and the general development of the society around her.
Their background is defined as:
Aarien was born under a full moon in the month of the Wolf. She was the second
born twin in the birth that caused the death of her mother. The babies were exactly
the same in every feature, the only different between the two new born babies was
the difference of night and day. The startling likeness of the twinborn children
so astounded their great grandmother that the demoness was compelled to take the
first born twin under her wing of tutelage. The second born, christened Aarien for
her lightness, Lilith could not stand to even look at for her remarkable resemblance
to her own twin, Sirius, that Lilith let the child go with no protest to the father
of the twins, claiming that the first born twin had died with its mother.
Her father took Aarien back to his home, and raised his daughter as best he could.
Sheltering and protecting her from any threat, she was kept almost hidden from the
world for her first seven years. Kept close to her family, she lived a rather happy
life for much of her childhood. It was not until her teen years that things changed,
rather rapidly for one so young. So now, as she studies and trains in the way her
father taught her to, she waits for the return of someone, or perhaps something.
Their personality is defined as:
Averial is a somewhat serious child who was left to his own devices from an early start.
Although his mother always laid a watchful eye on he and his twin sister, he would go
against her wishes and travel outside the boundaries which were declared safe. A bit
hard headed and one that hardly believes in the playful nonsense of other children his
age, Averiel may seem calloused. Despite his difficult outer persona, he has a deep
longing inside to befriend others, learn things he never dreamed possible, and fulfill
some deep, inner destiny which remains hidden, even to him.
Their background is defined as:
Averiel was raised under a strict household, completely forbidden to travel alone or
even leave the city of his birth. Fear manifested itself in the life of his mother
who strove to shelter him from the danger around him. However, the greatest danger
to him lies in the unseen...the evil in others, specifically those who might which
to kidnap him and bring out in him the birthright which he has been unknowingly
denied in his early years.
True to his nature as a child, Averiel constantly goes against his mother's wishes,
letting the ambitious and curious override the cautious side which has been repeatedly
stressed to him. Outside the safety of his hometown and away from his mother, Averiel
appears in the city of Lensmoor, quiet, mainly, but listening, watching, and occasionally
talking to those he meets, wondering if danger lurks unforeseen.
He was told very little of his relatives, grandparents and their parents before them.
He sought books and tomes of lineages dating back centuries, before many of the fine
cities were erected. Upon his studies, he discovered his lost heritage, a bloodline
of demons and stories of deceit, blood and love. The discovery of his bloodlines brought
him to the realization of answers to his many questions; the reasons animals feared him,
the terrible burning in his veins, the nightmares which woke him and left sweating in his bed.
The understanding of many things has finally brought him to seek out sources, those
who may know his family, who can teach him what it means to be Kal'Daka.

I don't remeber much about my early life except that Siri was always there. A presence in my mind that was my only real conscience now that I think about it. Later I learned I had taken it for granted, but that was not til much, much later. To late really. Being twins we had a connection I always thought no one could break. I've had some questions about us being twins, we do have some differences, I have hair as black as the void, while Sirius' is pure white. And when my eyes are crimson red of blood, hers are a sparkling turquise of pure spring water. But other than that, we are twins. We only ever had one parting of ways, our father, Shadow. He, like myself, even though I hate to admit it, was a wander. As a weapons dealer, and well versed in the use of her merchandise, he spent a great deal of time travelling around the lands. I saw this as a desertion, while Siri saw it as a duty. She was always high on duty. Personally, I feel it's overrated. When I spent my youth wandering further, and further way from my home and learned to use my magic, Sirius was learning the ways of the warrior and merchant. Believe it or not, but these skills work much better together than they first sound. At any rate, life went by like this for years. Then in my 14th year came the day that would change everything, and was the start of a run of bad luck in my eyes. I had been gone for sometime when I returned that day. I was sneaking about the house, as is my custom of doing, looking for my sister when I came across two servant woman talking.
"Honestly, a father shouldn't spend so much time away from his children. If he wanted to travel
a family wasn't for him." one said.
The other snorted distainfully. "It's a family trait I've noticed. That girl Lilith is no better
than him. She's just like her father if you ask me."
The first woman nodded. "I suppose. That girl gives me the creeps. She has unnatural powers I
tell ya, and those eyes of hers, those aren't right, eyes shouldn't have that color."
It took all my selfcontrol not to use my 'unnatural powers' on them both. I did, and still
do, have very little patience for ignorance. Nor did I appretiate being compared to the
drunkard who dared call himself my father. So, as a result I was in ill-humour when I found my sister.
"Welcome back Lil." she said over her shoulder as I entered that room. I was of course
invisible, and even though her presence in my mind and been becoming less and less,
she still knew I was there.
I smiled darkly. "At least I come back." It was a veiled, vague insult, but Sirius
was always quick and picked it up right away.
She sighed. "Father has business to attend to Lil, you know that."
"Business?!?" I spat. "The only business he attends to is a tankard and a bar wench."
I thought Sirius' eyes would pop right out of her head at my little declaration.
What came of that was the first fight we ever had. And because this might fall into
the hands of little ones, I won't get into detail of what was said. It ended in me
stroming out of the house for the last time.
I traveled abit, made a short stop in Midgaard(mudweiser) where I met may people,
such as the Queen of Thieves Nemesis. When I later learned Shadow had followed me
to Midgaard and had been driven mad by her, I wasn't surprised. Mind games had
been her specialty. I learned the ways of the thief and became somewhat know there.
I'm not to be confused with the Demoness Lileth who also now lives in that land.
She has a bad temper and will kill anyone who makes such a careless mistake. At
anyrate, I was there long before the Demoness was freed from the Death Stone,
before the great revolution in the time of the Old Gods. But that's another
story that's not mine to tell.
When I was 16 I left Midgaard. I have been told some years later it was destroyed.
Any how, after I left there was some...inconveniences, that took several years to
sort out before I made it to Lensmoor where I've lived in relitive peace ever since.
Personality:
Once a helpful, caring person, Lilith has become increasingly distant over the years.
Even her mischevious actions have nearly stopped, replaced by something darker, more
hateful. She enjoys the company of very few, and is untrusting of just about everyone.
She has an explosive temper and shows it when pushed to far, often saying just what
she thinks, if she should or not, more often not. A dying respect of the gods is the
cause of her not worshiping any of them. In a way, she doesn't see any of them as being
worthy of her trust or faith, and would rather rather remain an outcast then to put her
faith in a god or goddess she can't trust. Lilith is extremely stubborn, and gets what
she wants, no matter how long it takes, or what she has to do to get it. She often resorts
to extreme measures, that don't make sense to anyone who doesn't understand what she
plans in the end. She pretty much lives by the saying, If I have to suffer, so does
everyone else.
Since her change into a demon, she has changed in more ways than her form. She seem
more calm about things that would have enraged her before. No that she's become nicer,
perhaps just the opposite, she's become colder, less caring about things she cared about.
Some say that the demon that she merged with had more patients then she ever did, and
that she has taken on that aspect of the demon.
One thing that has always meant something to Lilith, even after her change is honor.
The honor of those around her, her family and her clan, mean a great deal to her. She
almost doesn't lie, she tells the truth with no thought to the feelings of those she's
talking to if they don't like the truth.
There are other interesting things that have started since her change, such as her
refering to her family and those she hunts with as her pack, refusing to hunt with
anyone else. She also hates her kind, absolutely dispises other demons. She sees
them as no more then rivals that need to be destroyed.
Lilith conciders herself a widow, having removed her husband from her life completely. T
his has come after a long line of betrayals from him, for which she has finally given
up on him for. She is a demoness of great untapped power, she hates her kind, yet
seeks to one day rule them as queen. Do not let other demons or myth block your
judgement of her, she is not some succubus, indeed just the opposite, and she has
become somewhat of a man hater. She is a warrior, necromacer, mother, and matron of
the DarkAmber family. She seems almost two people forced to coexist in one body.
She has only recently gone back the way of the gods, choosing, after great thought,
the young Goddess of of Anguish and Despair. To her, this path seemed choosen for
her, that fate had been preparing her for this. Any sense of being unsure in her
destiny has vanished, replaced by purpose in spreading the despair she had gone
though to others. Her best tool to do this is truth, as nothing hurts more than the truth.
Their background is defined as:
There is a centuries old tale told, part myth, part warning. It is even told in
some parts of Antrippa. It is about a man who angered Lord Arawn, God of Death,
so greatly that Arawn wouldn't let him die. He watched everything die and decay
around him, unable to stop it or to die with them. Friends, family, cities, entire
nations withered before him. Even hope deserted him until Despair embraced him.
He was condemned to life and to watch it all until he went insane.
Time often changes stories. Names and places. Whoever said that it was a man who angered Arawn anyway?
Lilith, having lost her only reason for living, went into a sleep of sorts. Unseeing,
unfeeling, like a statue. Only his return brought her back to herself. Unable to
let herself forgive, she again found herself with nothing and again sleeps. This time perhaps forever.
For now there seems to be no future for the Queen of the Damned. Locking herself in her tower, she sits as a statue staring into nothing. Not blinking, perhaps not ever breathing. Having no reason to move, she does not. It may be the end for her, but what is clear is that she won't be moving for some time.

Arawn is the god of death, and all it entails. His followers are encouraged to use
death as a tool to improve the world, by weeding out the weak members of society.
Death is never to be taken lightly, and it is the only finality.
